Sparkling Weddings and Events

A journey up the M6 and A6 took us to the lovely Lancaster House just outside Lancaster City Centre.

We were asked to transform the room into something special and the Bride and Groom chose the following:

For the Wedding Breakfast we set up our Fairylight Backdrop Curtain which we extended to 10m x 3m to cover the back wall and sit just behind the top table. We then added various sizes of crystal goblets each containing a tealight along the front of the table to add a real romantic look to the room. The florist placed a green garland inbetween the goblets which looked great, and we finished of the top table decoration with our custom made swagging.

For the guest tables the newlyweds hired our large crystal vase table centrepieces with internal tea light which lit up the crystal on the vase to create a beautiful effect both during the meal and evening party.

We finished the room with a subtle shade of lavender uplighting.

For the evening reception we added in our professional Wedding DJ including starlit booth which looked great in front of the fairy light backdrop, and our white starlit dancefloor.

A fantastic Wedding venue and lovely example of what can be achieved with our venue dressing.

A lovely Wedding setting this week at another Mercure hotel - The Dunkenhalgh in Clayton-le-moors near Accrington and Burnley.

This evening we were in the Townley Suite, which is perfect for a rectanglar shaped dance floor.

The Wedding guests were really up for a party and the leds in the dancefloor flashed and twinkled all night provided a perfect area for the revellers to show their dance moves!

Typically, this room is perfect for a 16x14 or 16x12 ft dancefloor size.

Dunkenhalgh hotel dancefloor

Here we have our blue uplighters to provide a perfect up lighting effect at a Wedding at Hurlston Hall near Ormskirk in Lancashire.

As it was such a large Wedding venue, we used our Par64 uplights and our wireless uplighters to get perfect coverage the room - ideal for where there are no power sockets.

Blue Uplighting

Its rare we get a chance to get some good quality photos at Weddings.

Usually there are venue staff in the photos, guests having a look at what we are doing, or the full venue lights will be on as they turn the room around.

Here, due to demand, we have taken a photo of the starlit led dancefloor with the venue lights down and no guests or staff around, for you to see how the floors look in the correct conditions.

Dancefloor hire North West

We regualrly have to provide solutions for corporate events where venue rooms need dividing to split entrances and main rooms.

Here we used our fairylight backdrop curtains in a different way to the norm. We positioned the backdrop curtains behind the pillars in the room using our pipe and drape backdrop framework system to create a custom fit covering so that the room behind the curtain could be used as a store and preperation room without any of the party guests seeing behind.

Using fairylights the wall curtain looked stunning in the evening and was a real focal point of the corporate event.

Wall Draping

We cover such a wide area that it is great to see so many different venues and locations.

Today was no different as we travelled to Sheffield in South Yorkshire to provide the evening entertainment for a lovely family Wedding.

We created a classy blue and white winter effect using our white starlit dj booth, a 12x10 ft white twinkling dancefloor and blue and white uplighting around the room.

It was great to play music for such a willing crowd and we played everything from classic disco and party songs to more up to date r n b and dance music.

A lovely round of thank you's at the end of the night for all our hard work was well received.

Wedding DJ

Due to adverse weather conditions and terrential rain, we took the decision to set off at 2am to make sure we got to the venue for todays all day Wedding package.

We provided everything for the Wedding and all parts of the day including the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception.

This included aisle runner, chair cover hire, sashes and bows, aisle lanterns, ceremony music, cerntrepiece decoration, white uplighting, top table backdrop curtains, white starlit dancefloor and Wedding DJ.

Finally got home at 7.30am making it a 29 hour day!

Dancefloor hire at Colshaw Hall Cheshire

Whalley Abbey was the setting for this evenings 40th birthday party.

Set in the room upstairs near the lobby, we provided a black and white colour scheme for a touch of class.

The black lycra chair covers look fantastic when combined with the white organza sashes, ideal for parties and celebrations!

Following on from our previous blog at Mottram Hall, this is the view from behind the uplighting.

We supplied our white 16 x 16 foot starlit dance floor for in front of our dj set up and from there projected the names of the Bride and Groom and Wedding date onto the dancefloor in great definition, but also in pink!

The setting was amazing for the first dance with the pink uplighting, twinkling dancefloor and projection and the dance floor was packed all night all the way upto the 1am finish!

From this angle you can see our Wedding DJ set up including booth, our pink uplighters which light the room a lovely shade of pink, and our large white led dancefloor.

The package works together very well and helps transform the venue from the serenity of the Wedding Breakfast into a evening reception to remember!
